Denisa Zlatá

Denisa Zlatá is a young cultural policy researcher and culture manager. She has studied Cultural Studies at Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague and Public Policy at Central European University in Budapest. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at Cultural Studies, Charles University in Prague whereby she is pursuing her disertation on synergies between Higher Education and Culture-based urban development via community action.

Denisa has experience with culture and arts management. She worked for various cultural organizations and projects as United Islands of Prague, Ars Poetica, Entrance Gallery.

Denisa is an originator of the project Urban Cultural Development – innovative learning module that was developed under the supervision of Curriculum Resource Center of CEU, Budapest. Integral part of this project is a research on feasibility of community-based learning model in the context of Bratislava region and more broadly in Slovakia and Central Europe from cultural perspective.
